Actually my issue is now resolved. First thing I did was pray, then I turned it off, manually moved the carriage back to the middle, took the cutting blade out and left it out. Turned the machine back on and it performed normally. Put the blade back in and was able to use the machine again as if nothing had happened. Hopefully this can help you.
